#13 of 50: Trina Petrash

Owner and President of City Wide Facility Solutions of Southern Arizona

Co-Pastor of Connections Vineyard Church

Veteran US Army/NH National Guard

Trina’s staff bestowed upon her the nickname, “La Emperatriz”, which in English is “The Empress”. In the Tarot, The Empress card signifies abundance and blessings representing the Earth Mother archetype. The Empress is ruled by Venus, which symbolizes love and harmony. The cards meaning underscores the importance of connecting with beauty and bringing happiness into your life by being kind and taking care of yourself. All these traits remind me of Trina. She has learned to fill others’ cups while also being aware of not draining her own. Trina gives of herself and she also receives.

She is a beautiful and wise soul and is a force for good in the world. Trina’s primary motivation, where her compass points true north, is living a life in service of others. Her strength and wisdom bring comfort to many in the varied roles she enjoys as wife, mother, grandmother, trusted friend, Owner and President of City Wide Facility Solutions of Southern Arizona, an ordained pastor, and a 20-year Army Combat Veteran with a Masters of Professional Counseling. Yes, she’s all that, and more!

“I get jazzed by bringing people together, seeing them getting along, doing things together, and really congealing. When I get to facilitate that environment and those relationships, I am fulfilled,” Trina said.

She also helped facilitate a shared photoshoot with her best friend, Paula Watkins. It was a hoot watching the two companionable friends laugh, have fun, carry on and really let loose for the better part of a day. The two just so happened to be the first 50/50 photoshoot post COVID-19 quarantine. After being cooped up for so long both women were more than ready to kick up their heels – literally – and not care about one thing other than themselves for the day. They were ready for some pampering and fun and they got it. A photoshoot is like a spa day with the additional benefit of capturing keepsake portraits to remember the day and to commemorate a special moment in time.
